Hydraulic oil cylinder

Hydraulic single-acting cylinder

Working Principle

The working principle of a hydraulic single-acting piston cylinder is relatively simple. When oil enters the cylinder through the inlet line, the oil pressure acts on one side of the piston, pushing it to move in one direction and generating a unidirectional linear force. During oil return, due to the small oil drain hole designed inside the cylinder, the oil can naturally drain, and the return of the piston relies on external forces such as gravity or spring tension.

Application

Hydraulic single-acting piston cylinders are widely used in various situations requiring unidirectional thrust or traction. For example, they are commonly found in economical equipment or simple lifting devices, such as standing water dispensers and vehicle loading/unloading operations. Additionally, in industrial production fields like machinery manufacturing, automobile manufacturing, and construction, single-acting cylinders play a crucial role in tasks such as stretching, compression, and bending. In automotive braking and suspension systems, single-acting cylinders are also used to control the movement of brake pads and suspension mechanisms.

Overall, hydraulic single-acting piston cylinders are widely applied in industrial production due to their simple structure, easy maintenance, and high energy efficiency.

Product Features

Unidirectional thrust: The single-acting cylinder can only achieve unidirectional thrust or traction, limiting its application range.

Simple structure: Compared to double-acting cylinders, the single-acting cylinder has a simpler structure, requiring only one hydraulic line to provide pressure, saving material and reducing costs.

Easy maintenance: Since the cylinder's sealing only requires one side, maintenance and repairs are more convenient.

High energy efficiency: The single-acting mechanism only needs to apply pressure to one side to complete reciprocating motion, reducing energy consumption.
